Maple Class
Mixed Media Project
The Maple Class explored creativity through a mixed media art project, experimenting with a wide range of materials such as clay, natural items, and recycled objects. Students created both abstract and detailed pieces, including sculptures and paintings that expressed their ideas, emotions, and unique perspectives. Throughout the project, they focused on key art elements such as texture, color, and shape, learning how different forms, materials, and techniques can be combined to bring their artistic visions to life.

To further share their work, students also recorded short sound clips explaining their artistic choices and thought processes. In these recordings, they described the materials they selected, the ideas behind their creations, and what they wanted viewers to notice. This gave them an opportunity to reflect on their work and communicate their creativity in their own voices.
